In 1954, Al’s Auto Salvage opened in San Diego, California as a family owned salvage yard with just a couple of employees and a desire to provide a superior buying experience for our customers. It was a place where fathers and sons would bring their tools and treasure hunt on the weekends and local repair shops could count on fast and friendly delivery for their clients vehicles.Over the years much has changed. In 2005, we moved our facility to South Texas and now have a state of the art computerized inventory for our growing customer base. We offer a full parts locating services and ship both new and tested recycled parts nationwide. But one thing that will not change is our old fashioned way of doing business. Our mission is still to provide friendly,individual attention and high quality parts to all our valued customers.To that end we have local representatives on the East Coast in Va, the West Coast in California and the MidSouth in Texas.
